This blog is a forum for moms, soon-to-be moms and anyone who hopes to be a mom one day to discuss pregnancy, labor & delivery, and parenting free of judgement or competition. Contributors to this blog are not experts, they are simply offering their perspective. There is no one right way to have a baby or to be a mother. Ultimately, this blog is meant to celebrate a mother's intuition and ability to figure out what works best for her body, her children and her family.
Meet the Moms
Kelli, Johanna and Rachael are best friends from college and were blessed to have their first babies within 5 months of eachother. As they experienced pregnancy, childbirth and now motherhood, they turned to one another for advice, an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry (sometimes for no reason).
Rachael is the mother to a 4 month old baby boy. She works from home in marketing and public relations. She enjoys spending time outdoors, and her new favorite hobby is photography. As a mother, Rachael would characterize herself as flexible and informed.
Kelli is mother to a 3 week old baby boy. She works in the non-profit sector as an event coordinator. Kelli loves spending time with her family and doing anything active. As a mother, Kelli is laid back and open-minded.
Johanna is mother to a newborn baby girl. She is currently in school for her Masters in Public Health. Her interests include jogging and she is passionate about bringing healthful eating opportunities and education to underpriviledged children. As a mother, Johanna is proactive and thoughtful.
